Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We drove just over three miles in on Dummer Pond Road and parked near the snowmobile trail leaving on the west side of the road not far north of mile marker 3. The road was wide enough to park without blocking. During the hike, we noted fresh tire tracks on Paris Road suggesting that one may be able to drive in, though we did not drive to the junction to confirm that vehicle access is permitted.

Comments
Comments: We walked a very short distance on the snowmobile trail leaving the west side of Dummer Pond road just past mile marker 3. We began to bushwhack up to the south saddle on Dummer Pond Mountain from the west. We passed through the saddle and down to Paris Road. We walked the road to the junction where a bridge crosses the brook to the west, northeast of East Long. We took the road headed from the bridge west along the north slope. We then bushwhacked the peak from the north, aiming for the gentler grades to the west of the summit. From the recognized highpoint, we returned in our tracks to the Dummer Pond Mountain south col. We bushwhacked to the summit from our tracks to the south of the peak. We followed our tracks out from the recognized summit.

Snow was in general a few inches to several inches over a sometimes supportive/sometimes less supportive base. The north slope of East long was filled in with some bigger powder depth and a less supportive base.
