Parking/Access Road Notes: I got my car into the trailhead lot, with difficulty, decided to pull out, and parked two tenths up the hill where the shoulder had been plowed for hikers; when I returned, several cars were parked near driveway, partially over the white line

Comments
Comments: The trail surface is about perfect, with almost no exposed ice. I switched from bare-boots to crampons shortly below the first crossing of the slide, but spikes and good snowshoes were both adequate today. In fact, mine were the only crampons I saw.
