Comments
Comments: Trail has only been barebooted except for the very top, so is not in very smooth shape even though there is not much snow coverage. Misread the trail reports leading us to believe the trail was packed out but it was referring to the other side coming up from Long Pond Road. Should have been snowshoed to track out a nice trail. We didn't use snowshoes. Wish we had to help out the trail. Sorry! That said, it was like walking uphill on beach sand. Tried to boot pack as much as possible. Much better now than when we started but could still use a good snowshoe packing.

Otherwise, a very nice, relatively easy hike. Cloudy, so not very good views from the top but beautiful just the same. Warm temps made it an enjoyable journey.
