Comments
Comments: The road to the trailhead is plowed but gated at about 1 mile, so we had to walk about 0.6mile to the Lodge which is where the trail began. Made for easy walking. Started early enough to beat the weather and enjoy beautiful views all the way up. Trail is well packed so only light or no traction was needed. Snow got a little softer on the way down and snowshoes would have helped the trail stay smooth but again.

Conditions at the top were CaRazy! The wind was blowing so hard it was difficult to stay upright and we were easily blown off balance. Small ice chips were hitting our faces as well, so we didn't stay long at the top. That said, there wasn't much snow cover up there. Lots of exposed rock and small bits of icey patches, easily manuevered around.

Should be good hiking if the weather freezes and firms up the trail.
