| Comments: |
This route mostly only made sense because I was hiking just one of the 3 'Blues' (Mt. Chocorua). I walked the road shown on USGS leading to a sandpit and began to bushwhack up the northwest slope. The woods were mainly open and the grades were mainly moderate. The highpoint is recognized. A serious lack of snow for the time of year. Long bare sections alternating with old snow that required snowshoes. |
