| Comments: |
Trail starts with an icy path through the snow but ice/snow comes and goes all the way up. Rock (not new!) spikes are the tool of choice for the alternating sections of ice, snow and bare rock unless you like changing in and out of traction every 100'.
Fun hike with Chris and Renee in lowering cloud cover. Few views on this day but a lovely flock of 50 or more waxwings were feeding on the summit mountain ash berries. |
