Comments
Comments: Great outing with the SAR Family. The trail had a light coating of new snow on it, maybe 2-3 inches. We were able to use spikes without issue but snowshoes were a fine choice as well. Decent snow depth for early in the season with upwards of 2-3 feet higher up. Some minor drifting above the Mizpah Cutoff and along the ridge. We had intended to hit Eisenhower and Jackson as well but the weather had different plans for us. Cold temps, low visibility and winds blowing told us just to go to Pierce. We passed many others heading up as we were heading down.
