| Comments: |
A new sign at the trailhead urges hikers to wear snowshoes when conditions warrant, but the loop was well-packed today. I booted round-trip without issue, but snowshoes would have been fine too. These conditions will change though with the upcoming rain and warmup. Mt. Washington was clearly visible today, some 81 mi. away as the crow flies. |
