| Comments: |
Hoof it along Long Pond Rd for about .5 mile then turn left at the trailhead, there is a sign. Snow and ice covering most of the trail from the bottom to top. Much of the ice is still soft but in a few spots it is very hard - time to trade the duller "spring/fall" traction for the spikes in better condition. A few downed trees to either walk around or crawl over/under. Summit of this 52WAV is treed in, but the views of Moosilauke from below the summit are spectacular. A wonderful 4mile RT hike. |
