Comments
Comments: Mt. Roberts Trail has some minor ice in between rocks once onto the rocky slope but no issues if staying on top of said rocks. The wooded stretch below the summit is slick in spots also. High Ridge Trail has up to 3-ish inches of snow throughout which was semi-supportive in the morning but softening as the day wore on. Black Snout Trail is pretty well covered in snow but again at a semi-supportive minimal depth. Oak Ridge Cutoff is messy: soft snow is sharing the trail with significant leaves covering roots, rocks, mud and some trickling water. This continued descending Upper Bridle Path until about 1900' when the snow was pretty much gone for good. I was able to bare boot this entire trek and never seriously thought about donning Microspikes - though if I were descending Mt. Roberts Trail I'd be inclined to wear them in the woods below the summit.

It was a really nice day wandering this fine area: I made sure to linger at the peaks and viewpoints enjoying the blue skies and abundant sun. Twas a little brisk ascending Mt. Roberts in the morning but pretty comfy after that. Other than about 8 folks coming and going on top of Mt. Shaw and 3 others below it I had this entire route to myself.

PS: Has anyone ever noticed that Upper Bridle Path is one of the least 'bridle' of the paths in the area?
