Comments
Comments: This hike started by accompanying rocket21 to Carter Dome. The one digression on this section was that I took a very short bushwhack to the recognized secondary bump on South Carter, while rocket21 cleared blowdowns. From Carter Dome, I continued down to the hut and over the Wildcats. The decent to the hut was a bit tricky with powder obscuring obstacles. Wildcat Ridge trail is well packed, which made for quick and easy hiking. Very little ice. I took Wildcat Ski trail down, which is closed. This was the one time I would have liked snowshoes as there's some deep drifts. I used light traction for the majority of the hike.
