Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Stream was rock hoppable. I went right next to a logjam a bit to the right of the big log across the stream. That big log is still in place and is a definite option for high water conditions.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape. Cleaned out a few water bars clogged with leaves.

Comments
Comments: As mentioned previously, Dicey Mills trail is in great shape and is a very easy ascent and descent, except above the Rollins junction. There were lots of leaves below the stream crossing and some standing water in a couple sections. There was running water on the trail above the Rollins junction, with ice along the edges. Had to watch my footing, but no traction required. There was also some standing ice on the trail a bit below the summit, which was easily avoidable. Lastly, there was a significant ice patch on a sharply inclined ledge just below the summit that required some careful consideration. I almost put on my spikes, but instead went on the edge of the trail by a couple of blowdowns and avoided it. Please note that it could be dangerous if that ice patch doesn't melt and gets covered with snow. Weather was fantastic, but a bit windy and cold up top.
