Parked at the small lot on Carriage Road just above the lower parking lot. Lower lot already had cars parked on the road at 9:00,
even more at 2:00. Cars on the lower lot were parked on the side of the road directly next to the NO PARKING signs. |

All either bridged or easy stepover. |

No major issues. A few branches from all the wind that I kept kicking to the side |

Great day to pick up a few more trails towards my redlining quest. Only 13 miles to go. Will pick up a couple small pones tomorrow.
At the time of the year where you need to be careful starting out early, especially on the north and west sides of peaks. All the ledges on Piper Mtn. Trail had ice on them early in the day before the sun got to them. Couple sections on Old Piper Trail were so-so. |
