Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Lots of room at 6AM on the west side parking area. Nearly full at 3:30PM.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on Falling Waters Trail were easy as the water level is about normal right now. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape with only 2 blowdowns that I remember. The paint blazes are in fair condition but these 2 trails are easy to follow due to high usage. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw about 10 dogs today.

Bugs: None. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One T shirt and the sole of a boot that I carried out and disposed in the trash. 
 
Comments
Comments: A really great day to be on Franconia Ridge. It was quiet early on these trails but when I was heading down the Falling Waters Trail, I must have met over 50 people and 10 dogs on the way up. Temps from 35 to 55 with sunny sky and some clouds.
