Comments
Comments: Thanks to Beth Z. for perfect directions for this route. We headed up the ATV road, staying straight at the fork where the road goes left but a more overgrown one goes straight. Went almost 1 mile to just east of the peak where we saw an opening with a moose path heading up. Great path created by moose or man lead us up towards the summit along an old skid road. At a fork, we stayed to the right then entered the woods after the road became too overgrown. Continued through clean woods to the summit clearing and proceeded to hunt for the jar which was pretty well hidden as described in an earlier post. Signed in and started heading down when we noticed a ledge and another clearing with awesome views. Found our way down following another skid road which ended on the road a short way further up from where we had gone in. Great views of the early fall colors all the way back to the car.
