Comments
Comments: Hiked up to Potash via the trail. Great views from several ledges. Dropped off the cone towards the col over to South Potash. Steep and ledgey initially, but nothing unsafe. The col and the ascent up to South peak were scrappy, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be. For kicks and giggles, we opted to drop off the east heading down to Downes Brook. Woods were steep but super open initially... and it got more overgrown as we descended. We also hit an area with loads of rocks, which meant foot entrapment holes under the duff. We got down in fine fashion, but not sure if I'd recommend this descent over returning through the col back to Potash. Crossed the brook with ease, found the trail, and headed out.

Great day in the woods with Ken H.
