From our parking spot, we took a direct heading for the summit. Most of the way was in fairly clear woods although did cross one or two overgrown woods roads/snowmobile trails. Moderate at first then became fairly steep, but not impossible the closer we got to the summit. Did have to climb parallel to a cliff band just below the summit but we were able to locate a break in the rock wall that was easily climbed up to the ridge. We popped out right at the privy! We explored the cabin before going up to the recognized highpoint. The jar has no lid or register and has started filling up with water. Unfortunately, we did not have our usual spare jar so next one up please bring one! Going down we tried walking the ridge a ways but it was covered in cedar so we just headed back down the way we had come up and popped out right at our car. |
