Comments
Comments: Lovely ridge walk, done for redlining. Very pretty woodswalk, many ups and downs. West Royce is on 52WAV, but is quickly being obscured by trees. East Royce (across state line, haha) has much better views. I felt weak, sick, and tired this past week for unknown reasons. I took a huge nap sitting under the trail sign here and felt much better.

If you do go to West Royce from the other direction and are disappointed, continue on about another ten minutes and there is a nice ledge with much better views.
