Comments
Comments: Percy Peaks trail alternates between easy and moderate for the first mile then steep as it climbs adjacent to the ledges most of the rest of the way. Some areas also have abundant roots where it has eroded more. It flattens out slightly as you approach Old Summer Club junction. Slight downhill to the unofficial trail to South Percy which is marked by a sign, probably posted by the Cohoes Trail maintainers (thanks!). Trail up South Percy is steep in sections but not as much as we had expected. Some rock scrambles but mostly dirt trail. Great 360 views from the summit ledges. Summit is marked by a whistle hanging from a tree. Back down the same way we came!
