| Comments: |
I traveled counter-clockwise from Ferncroft up Old Mast Road, which was easy going to Four-Way.
Square Ledge Trail is a bit hobblebushy, and was slippery/muddy in spots from the prior rainstorm, especially descending over open rock from the junction with Passaconaway Cutoff. The climb up to the Walden Trail is soul-crushingly steep, but dry with excellent footing. Due to the heat, I descended via Dicey's Mill Trail on the way down, which was dry and clear.
Kudos to the WODC for their beautiful work on these trails! |
