Comments
Comments: Parked at the Old Speck trailhead and began the day with a bike ride to the start of the Grafton Loop Trail, started hiking at 6:40am. Trails were well-marked and easy to follow. A lot of recent chopping through big blowdowns up to Sunday River Whitecap. Great views from that summit. Sections of chest-high brush and hobble bush on the trail from Miles Notch to the start of the ascent of Old Speck, but trail still easy to follow. Saw only one other person until Old Speck. Back at the Old Speck trailhead at 4:40pm.
