Nice trail; a few muddy spots near the beginning but the rest was dry. Starts out easy: the first .9 miles goes up about 500', the remainder of the gain (@800') was over the next .8 miles. Easy to follow; follow the AT rule: when in doubt, follow the ledges. Reached the height of land then bushwhacked about 100' to the high spot on the ridge to be sure....summit not recognized. Nice hike! Beautiful day! |
