| Date of Hike: |

| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Got there at 7 and had a 0.3 mile walk to the trail head. Probably 0.5 or more if you park at noon! |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None (though that first log bridge is scary!) |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in great shape! One tree I had to step over on Snapper trail but no big deal! |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Many! One oddly aggressive barker that I raised my pole at because I thought he was going to bite me! (if this is your dog, please consider a leash)! |
| Bugs: |
So many bugs (mosquitoes, flies, bees) but not a single bite???? I had Deep Woods Off on, but perhaps they're about to move out? |
| Lost and Found: |
I saw a sports bra on a rock early on the trail. And one men's hiking boot about halfway up the Gorge Brook trail--it was brown with red laces--didn't see a second one. |

BEAUTIFUL day! Went solo but saw many people--not too many though! Very windy at the top, only stayed for a few minutes. So glad I hit the south peak, it was very nice, and cool to see where I had come from! I'm only at #10 but it was my favorite 4k so far! |
