| Comments: |
8 orange salamanders noted. Windy summit. Going up White Arrow with wet conditions was challenging. We chose to go down White Dot/White Cross/Side Foot trails which was much much nicer, in part because we were in the lee of the wind, the ledges were dry, and the wet trail in the woods was easier than than the White Arrow. Ledges had very good blazing. Side trails below the summit were lots of fun with partial views, Side Foot Trail was more of a quiet woodsy path, lightly worn and beautiful at times. |
