The north end of the traverse trailhead is in the South Pond Rec. area (beach/picnic). There is a gate that is open 10am - 8pm. The $7 fee does not apply to hikers, it is for beach/picnic area use. If you park outside the gate, there is a 1.1 mile road walk. |
