Bugs
Bugs: Horrible. Not bad on the summit because of the breeze, but from the trailhead to just above tree line, they were awful. Doused myself in bug spray multiple times and they still wouldn't stay away. Either I'm not using the right spray or they've developed a tolerance to the stuff.

Comments
Comments: The trail below tree line was a mix of dry and wet ground, with some gnarly mud and standing water between the Middle Sister Trail junction and tree line. Above the trees, it was pretty much dry to the summit. USFS Trailhead Stewards were set up at the Champney Falls trailhead, which was good because there were a lot of people hiking Chocorua from there, and it's a given that at least some of them needed info/guidance from them.
