| Bugs: |
Didn't need the head net, but the mosquitoes were out in force. Wore my permethrin treated long sleeves/long pants/socks. First time I've seen mosquitoes land on the pants. They would get off pretty quick though, you can tell they don't like it. Third week since spraying it on. I was stirring up hordes around those blowdowns too. Very weird working with so many of them hovering an inch off your clothing. Any area you missed while spraying they eventually find. That's what I'm learning, you have to be thorough when spraying. Spray was adequate for my face, but I did need a sprayed hat to keep them off the top of my head. Had to refresh the spray a couple times, but I was out there all day. |

Supposed to rain around 2pm, but the clouds bypassed me. Sun broke out for lunch on the cliff!
Met some nice friendly folks up there.
