Water Crossing Notes: Several, only one was moderately tricky. Others were easy rock stepping. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns between Mts. Field and Willey on Willey Range Tr. Otherwise, well maintained.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My 3 year old, lab-sized pup had no problems. Highly recommend.  
Bugs
Bugs: Mostly black flies at the rocky viewpoints throughout the hike. Pack the spray.

Comments: Excellent mostly-full day hike. Avalon might have the best views of the four peaks. Loose rock between Field and Willey can be a little tricky.
