| Comments: |
A CCW loop over Smarts. Daniel Doan Trail is really 2 trails. First 2 miles is a gentle walk on woods roads, though wet in a few places. Several intersections, but all have signs. The last mile is steep and rough. The J Trail is very gentle. Many new bog bridges on top half. At times I felt I was on I-93. Saw trillium and yellow bellied sapsuckers. Only saw 1 person all day. |
