|Lost and Found:
||Hiked up Carolyn's trail, avoided the (mostly) viewless summit and went S on the Cliff Trail to the South Cliffs, great views of everything from there, few other hikers enjoying the view. Took what is now the official top of Ted's Trail down. Carolyn's is wet in several places but it's the seasonal rains. Ted's you have a wet stretch along the lower portions, rest is ledgey and it does have some great views. I was able to make out the Boston skyline. Carolyn's you don't have any views until at the very top.|
I do have a complaint about the re-routing of Ted's, the old way takes a right near the split w/ the access trail to the South Cliffs-you should put signage there to explain that Ted's goes to the S Cliffs and the old Ted's is the Old Ted's but you can still get to Carolyn's from there. I've been up this mountain yearly since 2013 and run into several confused hikers looking for the top of one or the other trail, the maps aren't updated yet either it seems. Ted's and Carolyn's meet in the old maps, now Ted's just goes up to the South Cliffs and stops. Come on guys it's not that hard.
The hike itself was good and I recommend it for anyone.
