| Comments: |
The lower parts of the trails are merely wet, but upper Hale Brook and Lend-a-Hand both have stretches of snow that are best navigated by snowshoes interspersed with snowless and rocky areas. Expect multiple rounds of "Is it worth putting on my snowshoes for this?" In many areas, it is possible to walk beside the monorail or to step on it in others' footprints, expect to fall through. If you want to actually have fun on Lend-a-Hand, wait for the melt. |
