Comments
Comments: The day started with a rainbow in front of Baldface on my way there, so that was cool. Mostly snow free, which had been my hope, and generally sunny. The walk up the ridge to South was super windy, had to really fight it to stay upright. Wind lessened as the day went on, and it warmed up nice. Views east were clear; Wildcat, the Carters, and the Presis looked cool hiding under a cloud bank all morning. There was some snow descending off North, and it was slick, but it wasn't too long a stretch, and mostly held firm. Thanks to Mark for keeping me company, made for a nice hike. We only saw one other hiker.
