Comments
Comments: Greeley Ponds Trail: a few short (quickly melting) stretches of monorail coupled with some muddy stretches
Mt. Osceola Trail to East Osceola: bare for the first stretch, then consistent monorail of increasing snow depth up to the peak. Light traction was helpful for the ascent and descent
Mt. Osceola Trail to Osceola: unstable, narrow monorail. At this point, snowshoes wouldn’t be helpful given the softness of the snow. Expect some postholing. Chimney and chimney bypass are snow free

Typical May conditions that are quickly changing. Nonetheless, a fun day out with dogs and friends!
