Comments
Comments: Spring conditions made snowshoes a must, especially once we reached the High Ridge trail. Until then we managed in Microspikes. Then we used snowshoes to go over to Black Snout, and went back to Microspikes on the trip from Black Snout over to Big Ball/Tate. After we left Tate we used Microspikes for a short time, until we reached the Italian trail, where we could finally bare-boot.
