| Comments: |
We were fortunate that the snow/ice had solidified with the colder weather and we could easily hike with either bare boots or spikes. On the return, one hiker donned some snow shoes just to wander around in the woods. We did not post hole, but we were mindful of the deep snow shoe post holes which happened during the warm weather last week. They are massive.
A beautiful day for the last day of winter. Temps around 10 degrees to start but warmed up to the 30's with little wind and endless views. |
