The trail to Jackson was in good shape, packed out doable in spikes. The Webster-Jackson trail to Mt. Webster was in rough shape...started out ok then continued to get messy the higher up you got. I wanted to re-name the trail "poke your eye out and steal your hat" :-O...A LOT of branches to push through. Summited and then planned to continue to Jackson from there, maybe got .2in and lost the trail and the previous snowshoer had turned around also (probably due to difficulty to find blazes)....we opted to go back the way we came and summited Jackson from the cut off. Beautiful day, and the view from Jackson is amazing!
