Comments
Comments: Trails were all packed and frozen, though choppy in places with some postholes. Snow cover is complete save for blue ice flows and bare sections on the summits. Light traction would do the job in cold temps, but I preferred snowshoes. Very nice views as the sun came up and the big moon went down.

Made it out by 7:56 AM, well in advance of the Spring Equinox. Last winter hike for me. Piper was my 100th NH500 highest peak for the 2018-2019 winter (all first winter accents for me and all under 3,000 feet). Great season of hiking NH small peaks!
