This trail has been postholed to death. Postholes go all the way to the summit, some are very deep. We wore snowshoes car to car. Trail was frozen in the morning, but softened up on the afternoon. Trail is in better but not good condition now. Tracks to north peak stopped after 0.05 miles. We made it with 2 errors, stay right at both intersections. Once on the open area at the top we tried to avoid the ledges with our snowshoes so our tracks wander a bit. The view from the north peek is worth the trip. |
