Comments
Comments: Followed trip report info from all others who proceeded us.

Crossed over a chained woods road; marked "private /do not park"... but no, no-trespassing signs. Within a few yards, the road comes near a private tree-house like cabin... which is posted. The road skirts left, or north... easily avoiding the posted land.

Followed the old woods road to about 2100', about 2/3's of the way to the summit

BW'd from the end of the road through fairly easy woods to the recognized summit. Near the top, crossed into the Umbagog Wildlife Refuge... which I thought was pretty cool.

Last entry: Jack from Littleton, August 2017.

Early in the morning, temps were cold, so we had crust at times, and breakable crust with dry powdery snow beneath.

If you're working on the NH500... go grab this while the snow is cold and our track is there.

Great hike with JEM3
