| Comments: |
Zealand Rd is well travelled by skiers and hikers (and parts by snowmobiles). Snow is still soft though. Hale Brook Trail is well packed out and is in great shape with minimal post holes. Snow is still soft all the way up so snowshoes are recommended. The portion of trail leading to the switchbacks and then the switchbacks themselves is on a steep hill side and is quite difficult to keep your footing. Members of my party and another party took this section quite slowly to avoid slipping downhill. |
