Overall a comfortable day for a snowshoe hike. Moosilauke was clouded in and clouds limited the views but the sun did come out a few times. The trail was not broken out and not discernable in places leading to some unplanned bushwacking towards the top. We did catch the real trail on the way back down. Trail is now nicely broken out. A little past the 90 degree turn in the trail two snowshoe tracks diverge in the woods. The right one is the right one to take unless you want to follow our bushwack. |
