Comments: FR460, FR104 (snowmobile trail), bushwhack--followed snowshoe track

If this report looks familiar you're right because just two days ago on January 13th Bryan and Zachary & friends visited these peaks. Danielle and I followed their snowshoe track. This enabled us to book right up the mountains on their packed powder track. No thinking about navigation or worrying about getting wet from snow ladened trees because they knocked it all off for us. Thank you! (you can look up their trip report). It was windy and cold on top of Square and we found the frosty jar in the tree and signed the register and I found a pencil lying in the snow. We then back tracked and then followed their tracks to the recognzied highpoint, hello Yellow X, on Greens Ledge. We followed ribbons East of highpoint and they ended in an area of pink and orange ribbons that seems for no reason?? We far East and found open areas and ledges with great views towards the Mahoosucs and Berlin. We spent a good hour exploring the ledges edges from here back towards Sqaure, we found some amazing vistas of both Greens Ledge and Square Mt. This hour of whacking made us appreciate your efforts making the snowshoe track, I managed to get spruce trapped and snow covered. What a super day and we zipped right back down to our car.
