| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We tried to park right before the gate but our car wasn’t having it so we backed up (nearly got stuck) and parked at the jct with Lu...something or another road. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Ice - Blue, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I think I only saw 2 blazes the entire time but they trail was still easy to follow so long as you pay attention to the directions in the AMC guidebook. When you come to the clearings go across them, do not stay to the left. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
I imagine they’d do fine |

A light blue handkerchief at the pond. |

| Comments: |
We brought snowshoes and anticipated using them but they went for a ride. Not much snow on the ground. The trail had already been barebooted and a track was established. My parents and I all barebooted but we should have probably worn microspikes; there are some icy although avoidable spots particularly towards the beginning. My 72 year old father slipped and fell once. Luckily he didn’t much hurt himself. |
