$10 to hike up Polecat. Polecat was well groomed and busy with skiers and snowboarders. Hikers stay left! Light traction recommended. We kept 22†snowshoes on all day and it was smooth sailing. Trail softened up immediately once we hit Wildcat Ridge Trail/AT over to Wildcat D, but was broken up nicely by RobieWanCanobie and hiking partner who we met on A. Trail mostly packed from D on over to through A with small patches of 6-8 inches of soft snow. Light traction recommended for descent down Polecat. |
