Comments
Comments: Snow making equipment was at full blast on the slopes this am - but temps were above freezing, so they were blowing sleet!! Glad I had my shell handy!
Surprised to see Wildcat Ridge trail untracked - and even more surprised just how much snow had fallen. Almost to my knees with every step. I made it somewhere between C and B peaks when a guy named Eric caught up (my new best friend) and he broke the rest of the way to A peak - it was slow going but happy to have made it! While we were re-fueling, a group of 4 showed up and they planned to go down towards the hut (untracked at the time) Snow is still very loose and snowshoes are still needed.
