Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings were short rockhops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a couple of brushy blowdowns on the Boulder Trail. One was a short walkaround, the other a walk-through. We encountered a trail maintainer using a leaf blower to clear the trail on the Blue Trail, and also he or another maintainer had cleared the water bars and drainage areas on the Overlook Trail. Now and then we heard leaf blowers in the distance so I think there was a crew out there. Bravo to them!

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found and packed out a fresh appearing empty Goose Island IPA can from under the fire tower. Who does this?

Comments
Comments: A fine day of redlining in the Belknaps. Other than the trail maintainer I mentioned we did not see another soul on the trail all day. There was just a little ice on some of the ledges. Visited the plane crash on Belknap. There is a brand new visitor log canister there and we were the 5th visitors since 10/31. Thanks to Lone Wolf and Eagle Eyes (The Porcupine Whisperer) for a nice trip.
