Comments
Comments: Snow started on McCrillis at around 2100 feet. It wasn’t overly deep but it had a thick crust on top which made for laborious steps. Once on the “beaten path” (Rollins) we found two sets of frozen footsteps and postholes which was tedious to pick our way around. Snowshoes probabaly would have benefited the people who left them, they would have not benefited us however since the surface was now a frozen crust. Shoulder season conditions at their finest! Bring on more snow! ⛄️
