Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The crossing at 1.0 mile was easy, and there are options upstream for crossing at higher water levels. The second one was dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All of the blowdowns on both trails are easy to get past. Most of them are 12 inches in diameter and larger.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I thought I wasn't going to see anyone all day. While I was hanging around at the summit in the vain hope that the clouds would clear, along came Kingston (bichon mix?) and two of his two-legged friends.

Comments
Comments: Well it finally happened: a 52WAV peak with NO VIEW on a cloudy Columbus Day. The condensed water on most surfaces seemed to bring out the fall foliage colors of leaves within close viewing range. A return trip is in order for this nice hike.
