Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: For the crossing at the beginning of the Shelburne Trail near Wild River Road I took my shoes off and waded across for fifty feet, water was up to my knees but was easy to cross. If you wanted to you could go up or downstream for a few hundred feet and maybe rock hop but since the current was slow I just waded. All other crossings on the day were simple rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Couple of decent sized blowdowns on the Shelburne Trail, easy walk arounds or hop on and overs.

Comments
Comments: Trails are in mostly good shape. Rainbow, Wild River, and Eagle Link trails have summer hobblebush growth that encroaches the foot path but you can still easily feel the trail underneath and follow it. There are a few very muddy sections in the Wild River Wilderness, some good boot sucking mud that will get you! Beautiful day looping the Wild River Wilderness, the trails off the east side of the Carter-Moriah Range are lightly used, secluded, and beautiful, hardly any hikers back there. :)
