Dog-Related Notes: Had my 2 with me, no issues. Be warned if you hike off leash there is a horse pen with electric fence. We kept ours leashed until past that as they were very curious

Comments: Beautiful hike! Really starting to feel like spring. Some muddy spots and some light running water on the trail, lots of melting happening and slushy snow but luckily it was not very deep. Post holes were minor, only a few inches that you would sink in some spots. Gaiters were very helpful as well as goretex/waterproof shoes.

We brought microspikes with us, but did not need them and bare booted the whole time.
